Working with Layers

I'm very new to the Adobe software especially in Photoshop, so do comment what I do wrong I eager for improvements. Sorry too small.

 That is the picture that Madam Lydia give us.

 Note that the mouse scroll is not available but it is pointing the Create New layer icon.

 Well, it add another one layer to the Layer taskbar

 Pointing at the Delete a Layer icon
 After press the icon confirm the command one more time.

 Then the layer selected will be deleted and left one more layer.
